MCM releases the special edition MCM x WizPak in time for the Holiday season.
The unveiling marks the first time the exclusive backpack style has been made available to the public since its debut during the Grammy’s 60th Anniversary Weekend earlier this year. Fans of the wearable music smart-bag include A-listers such as Miley Cyrus, Jamie Foxx, Alicia Keys, Missy Elliot, Cardi B, Snoop Dogg, Future and Rita Ora.
The limited edition backpack celebrates the 45th anniversary of Hip Hop and commemorates the rich relationship that the luxury brand has shared with the music industry.
The launch is kicked off with a campaign featuring Swae Lee of the rap duo, Rae Sremmund and Wilhelmina model, Yovanna Ventura. The shoot was directed by LA-based videographer, musician, and designer GAB3 and captured by celebrity favorite, Michael Knapp.
The campaign was styled by creative consultant and famed stylist, Savannah White and produced by Future Music Group’s Platinum selling producer, Mally Mall.
The MCM x WizPak is officially sold in select retailers and online at www.MCMWorldwide.com beginning November 8th, 2018 and is available in two sizes (small and large) and seven colorways, including grey, red, black, soft pink, champagne, cognac, and cognac with studs.
The backpack comes equipped with special scratch resistant technology, a dedicated laptop pocket (available in the large size only), and an SOS emergency alert button for distress situations.
For the collaboration, the luxury brand’s heritage Stark Visetos Backpack received exclusive tech-savvy product enhancements including high quality sound from a 40w 2.1 stereo speaker system with 3D surround-sound removable technology built inside the backpack. Additionally, the style is able to connect to any media player through wireless Bluetooth connection, it has three charging ports for up to 14-hours of charge with ANY smart phone or tablet.
