Lets try this again.
You know how to do Bicep curls right?
Stand with feet hip width apart, shoulders back and down, chest up, elbows tight, and while keeping the arm close to the body, flex the arm till the dumbbell is near your shoulder. Then release, slowly and controlled. Repeat as desired. You know, that old gem.
What you may not know is that if doing this while seated, and leaning back on a bench, you can allow more stretch through the bicep, changing the way that your muscles react. Also taking out variables like how much body english (or swing) you add to the movement.
Go lighter, take it slow. Enjoy the burn the next few days.
