Without a doubt, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. It is all about sharing the love and joy with those you love, reflecting on the past year and preparing for the New Year to come.
I was very lucky to be able to spend my Holidays back in my hometown, with my family, and other loved ones. As much as I love to explore the world and reach new destinations, the downside of it is not spending much time at home.
Our Christmas preparation starts early in December with setting up the house and its surrounding with Christmas decorations. As soon as we choose our tree, we set it up together in our living room in the morning of the 24th of December. This is the day we have our close family over. This includes my parents, my brother, my grandparents, and last but not least by puppy, Gucci.
This year we had a special guest over for the Holidays. His name is Luis Rafael, with whom I don’t only have a professional relationship, but he is also a close friend of ours. During his stay we released our newest collaboration in the form of a calendar, where we chose photos from 2015 that are not posted anywhere else. We wanted to create something special for our family, friends, and fans; therefore we brought this project to life together. We both sign all calendars. Some copies are already hanging on the walls, some are on their way, and some more are being printed.
Starting the 25th of December, we start seeing some relatives in the area, as well as we like to have close family friends over during the few days after the 24th.
Majority likes to time their off-season around the Holidays, and especially Christmas. Would this be a good excuse to get a little more laid back with your strict dieting? I personally believe, that focusing on proper nutrition throughout the year is a major key to a great physique. I made it my lifestyle, and I do not like to get off the track, regardless of what time of the year it is. We have a couple of traditional meals for Christmas, however, since I introduced a healthy eating and living to my family, we tend to prepare nutritious meals that fit my diet. Every Christmas, I eat a special Hungarian-style fish soup, and baked salmon with herbs. Of course we always have a large variety of cakes and sweets, however I prefer to skip those.
